Activities Culture Centres Purpose: Explains that Culture Centres are the ground-level instrument through which LIFE Mission carries out its spiritual and service mandate, linking members to each other and to the community, with the Mission staying in touch via supervision and a monthly newsletter. Who can join: Membership is open to anyone regardless of gender, caste, creed, age or nationality who wants personal spiritual growth alongside service to humanity. The network extends across several Indian states and to the USA, Canada, Nepal and Australia. How to start a Centre: A group of fifteen willing people in rural areas (or ten in urban areas) may apply to open a Center. Once approved, it's self-governed by an elected committee of three or more members, with guidance/literature from the Mission; members may receive Mantra Diksha from the Mission's spiritual head. Membership & Fellowship: All Center members automatically join the worldwide Mission Fellowship and follow a Code of Conduct built on simplicity, purity, selflessness, mutual affection, cooperation, dedication and self-discipline, with service to humanity as the guiding principle. What Do They Do: Centres serve as a shared space for a like-minded group to follow an agreed daily spiritual routine (roughly 60 minutes) — prayer, mantra repetition, meditation, scripture reading, ritual learning, devotional singing — with flexibility rather than rigid rules. Other Useful Activities:
Daily Rituals and Spiritual Disciplines: Lord Lakulish prescribed different daily practices for the Fellowship's two wings — Nivritti (mainly Divine Yoga, limited public activity) and Pravritti (worldly responsibilities + service), supported by:
Notes that after sufficient progress, a member may receive further instruction in Karma, Jnana, or Bhakti yoga; the Lakulish Institute of Yoga offers a one-week Daily Rituals course and a two-week course covering these three yogas. International Fellowship Cadre of Fellowship: Both wings have nine ranked cadres: Sannyasi, Acharya, Parityagi, Shreyarthi, Brahmchari, Parmarthi, Antevasi, Sevadharmi, and Anuyayi (initiated followers). Initiation to Cadres: Each cadre has a specific initiation given by the Kulguru, who decides eligibility and provides training. Service According to Ability: Pravritti members may serve from home, work assigned by merit/skill; satisfactory service can lead to advancement; members may move between wings (typically upward), subject to the Kulguru's approval. Benefits of Joining: Active service accrues spiritual merit and can inspire others; members may also receive mantra initiation in Lord Lakulish's lineage, gaining ongoing spiritual guidance. Code of Conduct:
Who can join: Anyone enthusiastic and devoted, contributing per ability, with training provided; new members advised to join the Pravritti wing first, via an Application Form from the Mission's office. Mantra Diksha (Initiation) Explains, per traditional yogic teaching, that Sanskrit's fifty letters (Matrikas) are considered a source of sacred power, certain syllables linked to body parts, and combinations forming mantras believed to carry esoteric meaning and spiritual potency. Describes a sixteen-stage discipline called Mantra Yoga underlying major yoga traditions, and states a mantra is spiritually effective only when received directly from a realized Guru (Mantra Diksha), not read from a book. Also describes "mastering" a mantra as involving realisation of its esoteric meaning, inner awakening of its energy, and a related yogic phenomenon called Yoni Mudra, referencing the Kularnav Tantra and Rudrayamal Tantra on the inseparability of mantra and yoga. Seva / Volunteer Program Describes the volunteer wing supporting charitable work — temple upkeep, health camps, educational aid, disaster relief — framed as both offering and spiritual discipline. Social & Humanitarian Activities Repeats the same community service list as above (yoga/health awareness, youth development, aid to the disadvantaged, discouraging harmful habits/excess consumption, promoting simple living and cultural values). Join the Lakulish International Fellowship Closing call to action inviting visitors to join a global community centred on spiritual progress, moral integrity and selfless service through Yoga, Seva and Divine Realisation. |
